We are excited to congratulate Brightside Aleworks, out of Altoona, IA, as they join the ranks of Iowa Green Brewery Certification program.  This past week, Brightside was awarded a silver-level certification.

With environmental practices regarding overall energy efficiency and management of resource waste, Brightside worked their way in earning a silver certification. Brightside's installation of high-efficiency equipment, as well as their standard practices in recycling, helped them in achieving their silver-level ranking.

Brightside joins 20 other breweries in the award-winning certification program. The certification program, well off in its second year, works with Iowa craft breweries to not only help them comply with environmental regulations but to go above and beyond to ensure their production is as efficient and environmentally-friendly as possible.
