Jodi & Lee Wulfekuhle

Lee and Jodi Wulfekuhle are the owners of Ultra Compost.

Lee has been in the waste management line of work for 17 years. Through this, he has seen how much waste is going into landfills that could be recycled and reused. Lee came up with the concept of creating an organic compost from food waste, tree & yard waste into a useable product. Lee’s achievements included his patented process for making the compost. Recently he has started making his own Biochar and adding it into Ultra Compost products. Lee works directly in the plant to ensure a quality product.

Jodi Wulfekuhle has a business degree from AIB College. She handles the marketing and bookkeeping aspects of the business along with social media. Jodi is very creative and worked directly in creating the packaging for the compost bags. She does all the online sales for the business. Jodi recently worked directly with Kevin Harrington, inventor of the shark tank TV show to launch some commercials and be part of ASSEENONTV marketing.

Jodi and Lee have been expanding their business by adding other organic soil amendments and organic fertilizers. They foresee large growth in their company as they expand into retail markets and expand on the up and coming biochar market.
