IADG's Energy Bank | View Presentation

Bruce Nuzum: Iowa Area Development Group

Bruce Nuzum of the Iowa Area Development Group will overview IADG's Energy Bank. A low interest revolving loan fund established to help Iowa commercial businesses become more energy efficient. The program targets Iowa manufacturers, but is open to all commercial businesses. Eligible projects for this low-interest funding include equipment replacement, conversion of existing lighting to LED, as well as building improvements related to energy efficiency. As a part of the presentation, Bruce will review project eligibility, loan terms, and program and compliance requirements. 

USDA Grant Programs Available to Iowa Businesses

The Iowa Energy Center, administered by the Iowa Economic Development Authority, strives to provide resources to Iowa organizations in the research, education, and technology application fields. The overall goal is to reduce energy usage and benefit Iowa utility ratepayers. Amber Buckingham from IEDA will discuss the Iowa Energy Center's successful grant and loan programs, their impacts on the state, application requirements, and the future of these programs.
