Paint Booth

The permit-by-rule is a permitting option specifically for spray booths, facilities in compliance with these requirements are deemed in compliance with air construction permitting requirements.

Note: Permit-by-rule does not exempt the pollution source from applicable air pollution regulations and compliance requirements.

One Gallon Permit-by-Rule

If your facility never sprays more than one gallon of sprayable material in any single day (not average) you can use the one gallon permit-by-rule and be in compliance with Iowa construction permit requirements for spray operations.
