Anastasia Bender
Office Manager
Over the past seven years as the Office Manager for the IWRC, I’ve taken on a variety of behind-the-scenes roles that keep our team running smoothly. As the first point of contact for external clients, I ensure they’re supported and seamlessly connected with the right pillar of our organization to access the waste reduction services they need. I also manage our Online Painter Training Program and serve as the project lead for Salesforce implementation and maintenance.
One of my most recent accomplishments was helping lead the UNI Works transition in 2024, where I contributed as both a training developer and facilitator. Whether I’m overseeing financial operations, supporting grant reporting, managing the STAR4D program, or organizing client data, I approach each task with enthusiasm and a genuine passion for helping the IWRC succeed.
What I enjoy most about my role is knowing that the work I do behind the scenes allows our team to focus on their areas of expertise and serve clients without having to worry about day-to-day operations. That sense of purpose makes me proud to be part of the IWRC.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family watching movies, traveling, and playing games, or diving into a sustainable and creative hobby, such as sewing.
