Ben Kvigne

Ben serves as the Environmental Specialist for two of IWRC program pillars. His work will focus on assisting with training industrial and military painters  through the STAR4D program. Ben's duties also include supporting the Food, Beverage, and Organics Program Manager in the development of composting training guides and organizing training events for rural areas. Ben's prior work experience as a heavy equipment mechanic for 12 years followed by a decade-long tenure as an Iowa Waste Exchange Resource Specialist at the Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments (INRCOG), allowed him to develop expertise in waste management and resource conservation. Additionally, he served as the Director of Regional Public Transit at INRCOG for 2 years, and most recently, as the Shop Production Manager at QC Plastics in Independence, IA,
