Jason Clay
Environmental Specialist
Jason has been with the IWRC since November 2021. His current work focuses on emerging contaminants such as PFAS and providing support for IWRC’s Food Waste Reduction and Composting programs. Jason's prior work experience has allowed him to work on small farms in Iowa, Arizona and Wisconsin, in public works and parks departments in Iowa and Wisconsin, and in the non-profit sector on issues including community development, riparian conservation, community gardening and food security. He received his MA in Environmental Studies: Social Ecology from Prescott College in Prescott, Arizona in 2011 and his BA in Anthropology and International Studies from the University of Iowa in 2003.
